History of Catfish Statue

Actual statue catfish and fruit- shaped lute, but better known as the statue of catfish. The statue was built in Regent tenure Moch. Djamhari around 1995 and will become the city's trandemark Bekasi. Be sculpture catfish and lute pieces decorate the city for seven years. Apparently the good wishes of Regents is not necessarily good for the people. Most people who join in Bekasi especially Badan Kekeluargaan Masyarakat Bekasi (BKMB) and which one is Muchtadi chairman Mochtar, feel statue catfish and do not reflect the lute Bekasi. Because lele is a beast that greedy and eating everything that is nearby, the price is cheap. As well as the fruit lute the price is cheap. Catfish and sculpute harp Bekasi rejected by society.
BKMB protest filed by the Board to Mr. Moch. Djamhari, regent of Bekasi, but not addressed, eventually protest addressed to Mr. Nonon, Sonthani, mayor of Bekasi. Also droopped a later dated 25, 2001 decision that catfish statue dismantled. Although existing demolution orders, the statue was not too disturbing dismantled.
BKMB one of the administrators named Damin Sada and while it still existed as a village chief Sri Jaya, Tambun district had other ideas.
Together Bekasi society who can not wait for the catfish have also 'abdicate' then on Thursday, 24 April 2002, Damin Sada came after the catfish statue rally in Bekasi Sport Stadium and burn it.
Despite the catfish statue being grilled, catfish statue became a memory and story to Bekasi's child.

Dandels Road

Dandels road was originally known as the Great Post Road. Post road is a road whose length is approximately 1000 km which streetches along the northern Island of Java, from Anyer to Panarukan, built during the reign of Governor- General Herman Willem Daendals. In each post was establishef as 4,5 kilometers and connecting stops sending letters. Post road construction purpose is to facilitate communication between Daendels controlled areas along Java from attack England, Daendels need a strong military force and tough, Daendels derived from an army and indigenous communities. Daendels then set up a militart education in Batavia, and the place of manufacture or weapons factory in Semarang.
When just seet foot on the island of Java, Daendels chesnut to built transportation lines throughout the island of java in order to defent java from attack Britain. Daendels wishful to built the road that runs between anyer beach to panarukan. He was cruel, unforgiving. With the iron hand was completed in just one year alone (1808)

History the name of Jakarta

Origin of the name Jakarta begins on June 22 with the conquest of Sunda Kelapa by Fatahillah in year 1527 the city was renamed Jayakarta be the means of victory.
People of Netherlands whi come to Jayakarta around the end of the 16th century and in 1619, the Dutch East India Company, led by January Pieterszoob Coon captured Jayakarta and then changed its name into Batavia. During the dutch era, Batavia developed into a large and important city.
Colonization by Japan beginning in 1942 and they changed the name into Batavia to Jakarta to facimate the population in the second world wars. The city is also home of the Declaration of Indonesia Independence on August 17th 1945 and occupied the Netherlands until acknowledgment of sovereignty in 1949.
